 Justice Maureen Onyetenu granted the extension while delivering a ruling in a fundamental right suit filed by legal practitioner, Monday Ubani, against the Nigerian government, the Attorney General of the Federation, Nigerian Communications Commission and the Minister of Communication and Digital Economy. A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has ordered the extension of the deadline for National Identity Number registration by two months effective from Tuesday, March 23. Justice Maureen Onyetenu granted the extension while delivering a ruling in a fundamental right suit filed by legal practitioner, Monday Ubani, against the Nigerian government, the Attorney General of the Federation, Nigerian Communications Commission and the Minister of Communication and Digital Economy. Zenith Bank Plc   Zenith Bank Plc has emerged as the Best Bank in Nigeria in the Global Finance Magazine’s Best Banks Awards 2021, retaining the award for a second consecutive year. The bank was among other banks from 35 countries in Africa recognised as the United States magazine announced its 28th Annual Best Bank Awards Winners in Africa. According to a statement, editors of the magazine made the selections after consultations with corporate financial executives, bankers, banking consultants and analysts worldwide. In selecting the bank, Global Finance considered factors that ranged from the quantitative objective to the informed subjective in selecting these top banks. Objective criteria considered included: growth in assets, profitability, geographic reach, strategic relationships, new business development and innovation in products.   The fast moving ‘Greater Lagos’ train of the Babajide Sanwo-Olu administration recently berthed in Ikorodu, and, in its characteristic style, left behind enduring developmental footprints. In continuation of its strategies to reduce the housing deficit in the state, Governor Sanwo-Olu and his team stormed the ancient town of Ikorodu to inaugurate yet another housing scheme at Igbogbo. The housing scheme, constructed by the State’s Ministry of Housing has 360 home units, comprising of 120 units (one bedroom), 120 units (two bedrooms) and 120 units (three bedrooms) on an expanse of 6.24 hectares of land in Igbogbo, Igbogbo-Baiyeku Local Council Development Area, LCDA.
